PROTEIN RESIDUE (CIEP) AND AMS RADIOCARBON AGE DETERMINATION OF SAMPLES FROM SITES HaRl-4 AND HaRl-49, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA (2021)
Site HaRl-4, the Rocky Mountain Portage House, which is part of a North West Company fort and trading outpost occupied between approximately 1805 and 1814, is located approximately 75m southeast of the Peace River near its confluence with Maurice Creek. HaRl-49 is situated inland from HaRl-4 on a bench overlooking the Peace river.
