Class III Archaeological Inventory Thirty-Nine Helicopter Landing Zones in New Mexico for Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico (2000)
An archaeological inventory of the HLZs was undertaken by Ogden Environmental and Energy Services Co., Inc., (Ogden) between March 27 and June 16, 2000. This survey traversed the 39 proposed helicopter landing zones. Two prehistoric sites and seven isolated occurrences.
A Class III Archaeological Survey of the Phase B Corridor, Tucson Aqueduct, Central Arizona Project (1986)
The Cultural Resource Management Division of the Arizona State Museum conducted an intensive Class III survey and testing program for the Phase B portion of the Tucson Aqueduct. Archaeologists surveyed 3,370 ha and identified 47 archaeological sites and 8 nonsites. Site types recorded included 4 Archaic camps, 2 Hohokam villages, 6 Hohokam farmstead-field houses, 28 limited-activity sites, 4 quarries, and 3 Protohistoric sites. Of the 47 identified sites, 24 were recommended for data recovery.

The following update serves as a supplement to the comprehensive form prepared in 1973 by Don Sawyer for Burro Tanks Site. This site is one of the most important archaeological resources in southeast New Mexico. The site is one of the few Jornada Mogollon structural sites in the region, with evidence for occupations spanning all time periods from Paleoindian to protohistoric Apache.
