Cultural Resources Survey of the 6,400 Acres Within the Melrose Bombing Range, Roosevelt County, New Mexico (1994)
The Melrose Bombing Range Survey, conducted from October to August 1994, covered T1N, R31E, sections 5, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 33, and 34; and T1S, R29E. section 1. A total of 6,400 acres were examined using pedestrian survey techniques. The survey crew recorded 5 prehistoric sites and 8 historic sites. There were also 166 isolated manifestations, which are both prehistoric and historic in nature.
