This report is concerned with the results of an archaeological survey of approximately 17,000 acres in the northeastern portion of the Mojave Desert. For readers unfamiliar with the term, an archaeological survey (or inventory) generally consists of an on foot reconnaissance of a given area, in search of archaeological sites located on the surface of the ground.
