United States Air Force Academy Historical Land-Use Database Technical Memorandum (FINAL) (2003)
This report presents the background, methodology, and results of the historical land use evaluation for the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), performed by URS Group, Inc. (URS) for the U.S. Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE). URS compiled aerial photography for the Air Force Academy and surrounding area for 1956, 1967, 1983, 1993, and 2002 and delineated the estimated areas of development for each year. The changes in developed area were tabulated and examined for trends.
