A portion of the transmission system for the Coronado Project and the Eastern Mining Area will be constructed by Salt River Project on the Tonto National Forest. The transmission system will consist of 14 miles of 500 kV transmission line, 20 miles of 230 kV transmission line, one mile of 115 kV transmission line, two miles of permanent access road, a large substation covering 32 acres of land, and a passive repeater site.
