Fort Sam Houston is planning an undertaking to upgrade all of the family housing units in Infantry Post. This project involves 21 single-family houses listed as Category I historic properties constructed in 1889 and 24 non-eligible duplex family housing, units constructed in 1959. These properties are located within the National Historic Landmark District. After careful review, the Public Works Cultural Resource Staff has determined that this undertaking will have no adverse effect.
