This project includes images of perishable artifacts (textiles, basketry, etc.) and pottery recovered from Aztec Ruins during the course of numerous National Park Service (NPS) projects. Some of the artifacts were donated to the NPS and may have originated at sites other than Aztec Ruins. Wrapped Twig, Accession AZRU-00008, Catalog #2647. Morris [unknown]. Analyzed by Laurie Webster, 2006. Small, tapered, polished twig wrapped crosswise with narrow strips of broadleaf yucca. Yucca cordage (structure indistinguishable) is present beneath the wrapping. Measurements: L 8.3, D 1.0 where wrapped CM. Image: AZRU8-2647 A: wrapped twig.
