DOCUMENT Full-Text Linda J. Scott. PaleoResearch Institute.

Two pollen and the flotation samples were taken at the Nollmeyer Site along the Yellowstone River in Richland County in far eastern Montana. The Nollmeyer Site (24RL122S) represents a sedentary, horticultural, earth lodge village occupied approximately 300 to 400 years ago. The pollen and macrofloral samples from this site were analyzed in an effort to obtain data concerning the vegetal portion of the subsistence pattern.
