POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSES AT AN ARCHAIC (SLP1717) AND A NAVAJO (SLP1719) SITE IN SOUTHWESTERN COLORADO (1987)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Linda J. Scott. PaleoResearch Institute.

Pollen and macrofloral analyses were conducted in conjunction with archaeological mitigation at two sites on the Southern Ute Reservation (5LP1717 and 5LP1719). Located in the La Plata River drainage, these sites represent separate Archaic and Navajo occupations in the northern San Juan Basin. The recovery of pollen and macrofloral remains at these sites was directed toward both paleoenvironmental and subsistence reconstruction.
