Eight bulk soil samples from the Bradbury Dam slurry wall trench in the bed of the Santa Ynez River, southern California, were floated to recover macrofloral remains, especially potentially radiocarbon datable material. The sample from Station 5+10 spoil also was examined for pollen and phytoliths.
