Twostratigraphic columns were collected along Lime Creek and examined for pollen and phytoliths. The Red Smoke site is situated upcreek less than half a mile from the Lime Creek site, examined previously (Cummings 1990), and the Stafford site is another 1.5 miles upstream from the Red Smoke site.
