Eight pollen and four macrofloral samples were examined from two sites overlooking the modern Skunk Bay, an area formerly occupied by Skunk Creek, a tributary of the Missouri River in North Dakota. Site 32DU396 represents a Besant occupation. A pollen column was studied to provide information concerning paleoenvironmental conditions.
