Sediment samples from a column at site 24LC1325 in western Montana were analyzed for pollen and macrofloral remains. This site represents an Archaic Period lithic scatter in the Scapegoat Wilderness on the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The column was excavated from a control pit in a plugged sink hole, and samples were collected from 10 cm intervals to reconstruct the past environment in the Scapegoat Wilderness.
