Several groundstone artifacts and one charcoal sample were sent for analysis and identification. The samples were recovered from a slab-lined fire pit during investigations at site 48SU1753 in southwest Wyoming. The radiocarbon dates for the site range from 4280 ± 70 BP to 1500 ± 60 BP, placing the earlier components of the site in of the Pine Springs Phase of the Late Archaic and the later components in the Uinta Phase of the Late Prehistoric.
