Eight pollen samples and a single botanic identification sample were examined from 48SW11483, the Alkali Creek Site, in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. The Alkali Creek Site is located on a low ridge overlooking the confluence of Alkali Creek and Salt Wells Creek at the foot of Pine Mountain between Flaming Gorge and Vermillion Basin. Feature 1, a slab-lined, cobblefilled hearth, yielded a radiocarbon age of 3580 +/- 70 BP. Features 2 and 3 yielded radiocarbon ages of 2970 +/- 70 BP and 3360...
