Charred "twiggy material" overlying a house floor at site 26CK6444 in the lower Moapa Valley, Nevada, was submitted for identification. The structure had burned, and radiocarbon analysis of charcoal from a burned post base identified as Populus spp. yielded a radiocarbon age of A.D. 125-338. The charcoal fragments submitted for identification were part of a larger sample of charred twigs roughly aligned in a patch and flaring out toward the exterior edge of the house floor.
