Three combined pollen and macrofloral samples were submitted for analysis from sites 42WS4228 and 42WS4230 in Cave Valley, southwest Utah. Site 42WS4228 consists of a sparse lithic and ground stone scatter with ash stains and fire-cracked rock. No ceramics or diagnostic artifacts were recovered. Pollen, macrofloral, and protein residue samples were examined from site 42WN2489, located in the upper Fremont River Valley in Wayne County, Utah. The prehistoric component of the site consists of three distinct clusters of cultural material.
