Four samples from Skeeter Shelter, site 5EP46, were floated to recover charred macrofloral remains. This site consists of a small rock shelter and associated rock art located on the Fort Carson Military Reservation south of Colorado Springs, Colorado. POLLEN ANALYSIS FOR SITE 48SW14254, WYOMING (2006)
Fill samples from two occupation periods at a site in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, were collected from hearths and analyzed. Radiocarbon dates obtained on charred remains from the hearths implied three separate use events at the site. Samples from Occupation 1 and Occupation 3 were sampled for pollen in search of evidence of plant processing activities.
