Site 5LP630 is located in Ridges Basin approximately three miles south of Durango, Colorado. The site contains a pithouse, which has been archaeomagnetically dated to AD 775 and AD 777 (P. Duke, personal communication). Archaeological excavation at this site was undertaken by the Fort Lewis College Archaeological Field School in the summer of 1982.
