Eleven soil samples were removed from a stratigraphic column on the east wall of excavation unit (XU) 61 at 32DU285 for pollen and phytolith analysis (Table 1). In addition, a twelfth sample was taken from a fluvial deposit below the level of the stratigraphic column and south of XU 61, which dates to the late Wisconsin or early Holocene Period.
