Four samples from the historic Charles Towne Landing site (38CH1-PSTS) were analyzed for archaeobotanical remains. Charles Towne Landing State Park is located along the west bank of the Ashley River, across the river from Charlestown, South Carolina, which occupies the east bank of the river.
