More than 900 incised and painted pebbles were recovered from the Tse-whit-zen Site in Port Angeles WA, yet, few have been reported elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest region. Similar stones from two sites on the Canadian side of the Strait of Juan de Fuca were reported by an art historian, but no spatial or temporal data was provided.
