DOCUMENT Citation Only Julio Amador.

Based on landscape archaeology, achaeoastronomy, the analysis of rock art iconography, ethnohistoric and ethnographic documents, this paper proposes to define the factors that determine the sacredness of rock art sites in the Sonoran Desert.
