Eagle Rock is a multi-component site with occupational horizons dating from 13,000 to 350 BP. This rock shelter is located in west central Colorado along the Gunnison River. Between 13,000 to 6,000 BP there is evidence of change in the lithic technology at the site. This is readily apparent in the artifact assemblage.
