Along the northeastern portion of the Yucatan Peninsula prehistoric ceramic production practices included a variety of utilitarian forms. During recent work at the Maya coastal site of Vista Alegre, Drs. Jeffrey Glover and Dominique Rissolo recovered a high volume of unslipped plain and striated sherds.
