The Eagle Tree site (48CO2920) is a prehistoric campsite situated on a partial bench and terrace above an ephemeral drainage near Antelope Creek. Excavations exposed multiple thermal features from the Thunder Basin Phase. Feature BF-F1, a hearth or oven, dated to the Late Prehistoric period and yielded a groundstone metate that was submitted for pollen, phytolith, starch, and protein residue analyses.
