Lincoln Military Housing at Fort Sam Houston is proposing an undertaking to add two ceiling fans on the front porch and to enclose the 2nd floor sleeping porch at the rear of the building for use as a laundry room for Staff Post 6. Known as the Pershing House, Staff 6 was constructed in 1881 and is individually listed as a National Landmark in the National Register of Historic Places.
