At the request of the Salt River Project (SRP), Archaeological Research Services, Inc. (ARS), completed a Class III cultural resources survey at two small parcels that are the planned locations of two 230-kV power poles in downtown Tempe, Maricopa County, Arizona. SRP plans to lease these parcels from their current landowners/administrators: the Union Pacific Railroad, the City of Tempe, and the Arizona State Land Department.
