Over the last 9 summers we have conducted extensive excavations at a rock shelter (Eagle Point) located above the Gunnison River in west central Colorado. The deposits are laddered and the macro botanical fill from the features indicates that from the Paleo Period to the last occupation in 200BP similar plant resources were available and exploited.
