Samples from the fill of three fire pit/hearth features at Site 42Em2517 in east-central Utah were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. A soil control sample also was submitted for pollen analysis. Site 42Em2517 is a known rockshelter with multiple components including Archaic, Formative, Late Prehistoric, and Historic.
