Site 41DL436 lies in a floodplain of Fish Creek in Dallas County, Texas. Pollen and phytolith samples were collected stratigraphically from a column at this site as a feasibility study to examine preservation of these proxy data records. Four samples were examined for macrofloral remains to recover charred material for AMS radiocarbon dating.
