The City of Phoenix is planning to improve Osborn Road between 56th Street and 50th Place (Section 29, Township 2 North, Range 4 East, USGS 7.5' Tempe, Arizona, 1952/1982). As part of the project, an open, unlined canal located south of Osborn Road between 56th Street and just west of 54th Street will be enclosed in an underground pipe (Figures 1 and 2).
