Draft of a circular plaque honoring the Women Airforce Service Pilots. In 2009, The President of the United States signed Public Law to award a Congressional Gold Medal to the Women Air Force Service Pilots. The WASPs were the first woman U.S. history to fly military aircraft.

On July 1st, 2009 The President of the United States signed Public Law to award a Congressional Gold Medal to the Women Airforce Service Pilots. This plaque was dedicated June 30th, 2010 by General Stephen R. Lorens, USAF, Commander, Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base.
