The NOAA Ship Fairweather is a hydrographic survey vessel that collects multi-beam bathymetry and side scan sonar data to produce today’s nautical charts which aid in the safe navigation of vessels along the Coast of Alaska, through the Bering Sea and into the Arctic Region.
