This poster displays a structural analysis of the islamic-medieval vessel called qarib, a local wooden construction, from the Garb al Andalus, beetween the 8th and 13th centuries. This is part of a Doctoral Project for the Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal, with the interdisciplinary scope of underlining the analytical usefulness of wooden assemblages and the physical limitations of the materal itself.
