This is a poster submission presented at the 2020 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology. In October 2018, Hurricane Michael hit the Gulf Coast of Florida. The impact from this storm was more devastating and widespread than anyone had anticipated. The northern segment of the Cascadia subduction zone has ruptured at least four times in the last 2000 years. Each of these giant earthquakes triggered a tsunami that potentially inundated the Tse-whit-zen village site to depths of 3-6 m and exposed it to currents of ~10 m/s.
