The Directorate of Public Works is planning an undertaking to correct safety deficiencies within two buildings at Fort Sam Houston which are contributing elements to the National Historic Landmark District. Buildings 2000 and 2001 are listed in our Programmatic Agreement as "Category I" resources of major historic importance. This letter outlines the proposed undertaking as well as historical background and present condition of Buildings 2000 and 2001.
