The Texas Historical Commission has received correspondence from Fort Sam Houston describing the proposed security gate in the Old Austin Road/Dickman Area. The Commission has consulted with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the Council concurred with the Commission that this proposed undertaking does not fall under Emergency Situations, therefore, the Commission has 30 days to comment on the proposal.
