This is an abstract from the "SAA 2019: General Sessions" session, at the 84th annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology. Early settlement at Yaxnohcah appears to have been widespread throughout a landscape covering over 40km2. In this paper, we specifically discuss the distribution of this settlement in the period from 900-700 BCE and contrast it to the distribution from 700-300 BCE.
