This is an abstract from the "SAA 2019: General Sessions" session, at the 84th annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology. The Shaheen area on the west coast of Prince of Wales Island, Southeast Alaska is a crenulated stretch of coastline protected from outside waters and fed by multiple freshwater streams.
