A review to our records shows that there are no known historic sites at this parcel, which is a moderate probability area for encountering Native Hawaiian archaeological resources.

At the request of M&E Pacific Inc., Cultural Surveys Hawaii Inc. conducted archaeological monitoring of the replacement of two underground fuel storage tanks and associated fuel lines with new above ground fuel storage tanks at Bellows Air Force Station, ahupua'a of Waimanalo, District of Koolaupoko, Oahu, Hawaii (TMK 4:1:15). Archaeological monitoring of UST removal was recommended in order to mitigate any adverse effects upon significant surface and subsurface cultural resources. The intention of this work was to determine the presence or absence of significant cultural resources, and to ensure the collection of sufficient archaeological materials in order to mitigate adverse impact resulting from UST removal activities.
