This is a poster submission presented at the 2021 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology. Fort Eustis, a military installation in southeastern Virginia, contains a number of earthworks dating to the Peninsula Campaign of the American Civil War. It has also been the location of extensive bulldozer training, which has left behind anomalous mounds of soil.
