The purpose of the architectural investigation was to re-evaluate the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility of the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Historic District (known as Cavalier Air Force Station) of the Stanley R. Mickelsen Safeguard Complex. The intent of this CRMP is to insure that historic preservation requirements are addressed and taken into consideration during any type of planning at SRMSC which may impact these resources. These requirements will be incorporated into normal operations and maintenance, land use planning, annual work plans, military construction planning and design and preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of National Register of Historic Places (NR) eligible buildings.
