This is an abstract from the "SAA 2023: Individual Abstracts" session, at the 88th annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology. Recent investigations by Kennesaw State University Field Schools completely excavated a 13th century residential structure at the Cummings site, a small community two kilometers downriver from the Etowah site.
