A total of 19 archaeological sites were located or relocated during a sample survey (Class II) of 1,400 acres along Tijeras Arroyo east and south of the City of Albuquerque. Eleven archaeological sites were newly discovered during this survey, while 8 sites were relocated within the selected survey units. The purpose of the survey was to determine the types of sites that remain undisturbed along a 1 mile wide corridor of the canyon from east of the present day town of Carnuel to the confluence...
