The Inman Buffalo site, 48SW3604, was exposed during trenching operations for a 12" Cities Services pipeline (Latady 1984). The site is located on the eastern side of a stabilized barchan dune. It was initially covered by sand, as much as two m thick on the southwestern side of the excavated area.
