This is an abstract from the "SAA 2024: Individual Abstracts" session, at the 89th annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology. Over the last twenty years extensive pedestrian surveys have been conducted along the Targavatai and Burgastai Valleys in northern Mongolia and in Weatherman Draw in south central Montana.
