This is an abstract from the "SAA 2024: Individual Abstracts" session, at the 89th annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology. In this poster, we present the preliminary findings on recent fieldwork at the Musgrove Shell Ring. Due to the ring’s low topography and dense vegetation coverage, archaeologists did not identify the ring prior to the review of new LIDAR data, which showed an anomaly approximately 60 m in diameter.
