Mancos Black-on-white (Dogoszhi style), bowl, Accession AZRU-00001, Catalog #983, Morris FS 4574. Analyzed by Lori Reed 2006. Temper is granular igneous rock and sand indicating manufacture at Aztec. Bowl was reconstructed with about 80% original fragments and 15% unknown paster material; 5% is missing. Measurements: 23 cm orifice diameter, 13 cm height. Mancos Black-on-white (Puerco style), bowl (fragments), Accession AZRU-00001, Catalog #982, Morris FS 4572. Analyzed by Lori Reed 2006. Temper is diorite porphyry indicating manufacture in the central Mesa Verde region. Bowl fragments were previously reconstructed with unknown adhesive and about 10% unknown paster material.
